The Oxbow of the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park is, arguably, the most popular spot in the park because of it’s easy access and iconic view of Mount Moran. This was an early fall stormy afternoon, filled with snow, sleet, rain and some extraordinary light that quickly made us forget about any negatives of shooting in bad weather. These light pockets disappeared as quickly as they arrived. After capturing this I stooped down to get my ultra-wide angle lens out of my pack and when I looked up, this light was gone.
